Edmonton casino stages and showrooms
Checked October 8, 2026By the Threshold Desk
Five casino rooms for shows around Edmonton have a published capacity, from 85 at The Social to 2,500 at The Venue at River Cree. This page lines them up by size and notes the bars and private rooms that also work as a stage.

Stage sizes side by side
Bars are drawn to the published capacity; a big stage here means 500 or more.
Music without a published capacity
- Halley's Club at Starlight: special events and private bookings only; capacity not published
- Celly's Sports Bar & Lounge at St. Albert: free live music Friday and Saturday evenings; no showroom
- Match Eatery & Public House at Grand Villa: live music and DJs; no show room capacity published
Rooms for 500 and more
On this site a stage counts as big when its published capacity is 500 or more. Three casino rooms around Edmonton reach that line. The Venue at River Cree is a concert and event hall for up to 2,500 people, depending on setup. It is entered through the main entrance of the resort, and every show held there is 18+.
Behind the door of Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton are two showrooms. The larger, the Century Showroom, covers 10,700 sq ft and seats about 500 for live concerts: bands, blues and country acts. Its smaller room belongs in the next section.
At PURE Casino Yellowhead, the Pearl Showroom is 18+ and holds up to 500 standing. Past the door sit a stage, a dance floor, a lighting system and a full-service bar. Food and drink are served at the seats.
Smaller rooms and lounge stages
The second showroom at Century Casino & Hotel Edmonton is 3,000 sq ft and seats about 200. Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club runs stand-up shows there every weekend.
PURE Casino Edmonton keeps The Social, a banquet and live-music room with a full stage, built-in AV and a dance floor. Local musicians play there as free live entertainment. The room also takes private events of up to 85 guests.
Some stages are simply a corner of a bar. Celly's Sports Bar & Lounge at Century Casino St. Albert has free live music every Friday and Saturday evening. That casino has no separate showroom. Match Eatery & Public House, on the pedway level of Grand Villa Casino Edmonton, is a British-style pub with live music, DJs and sports on TV. At Starlight Casino Edmonton, Halley's Club is a supper-club and cabaret-style room for special events and private bookings only, with no published capacity.
Age limits and what is not known
River Cree shows are 18+. Since July 29, 2024, minors may use the resort's non-gaming areas, such as rinks, restaurants and community events in The Venue, when an adult is with them. Gaming areas remain off limits to them. The Pearl Showroom at PURE Casino Yellowhead is also 18+.
This guide does not know what is on stage on a given night or what a ticket costs. For a particular show, the venue's own site is the place to check. Alberta's legal gambling age is 18, and casino staff must check government-issued photo ID for anyone who appears to be under 25.
